HAPPY CANADA DAY!

This post is dedicated to my friend Cool.

Here's to saying "a boot" insead of "about," Canadian beer (I don't drink it, but I loved Strange Brew), EH?, beavers, moose, lumberjacks and hockey!

So, with all respect due our huge northern neighbors, I am posting 2 great songs :

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

"O Canada, we stand on guard for thee."

Yeah, RIGHT. If the U.S. invaded Canada, the combined Canadian armed forces would last about an hour and a half. Maybe.

So saith I ... was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

I do love visiting Vancouver Island.
