Month 7 Notables:
- We tried solids for about a month - rice cereal, some carrots, peas. They just weren't agreeing with her poor belly. So we're taking a break - just a small dish of rice cereal each day - and we'll try again in a few weeks.
- Have I mentioned that she is a Happy Baby!? She is constantly drawing a crowd with her sparkling smile and engaging expression.
- She is starting to sit on her own, especially on the grass. She LOVES the grass.
- This baby is obsessed with animals. Holy smokes - if she sees a cat or dog or bird, she goes bonkers! Ohhh, I hope she doesn't start begging for a dog. I really don't want a dog. (Hush, Jessica. I know that there are MEAN parents out there who flat out refuse to give in when their poor kids are begging for a pet.)

We'll have to chat about the stomach thing. Nicholas was the SAME way and still is to this day! His tummy gives him nothing but fits!
She is stinkin' adorable. And you're going to get a dog. Unavoidable!
She is beaming! I can't believe how happy she always seems to be.
Tummy troubles are always in my home as well. They get a little better when they start moving around, but really cause nighttime screaming.
Maybe you should show her sea monkeys...she may think that they are better than dogs.
How is it possible that she keeps getting cuter and cuter each month? What a ham!
Sorry to hear about the tummy troubles. I wonder if she's too young to be tested for food sensitivities? I'm going to have Brad and Jill tested soon...I heard about a naturopath (sp?) on the Island who does a blood test for 125 different foods. Kylie's friend found out she has a garlic sensitivity. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could pin Brad's tummy troubles down to one food like that? With my luck he'll have 120 sensitivities and all he'll be able to eat will be something really expensive!
I cannot believe she is 7 months already! That happened too fast. Such a sweet girl.
