Emma had her ballet recital on Saturday. It was a bit traumatic just getting her to this point. Her practices were Monday mornings, after school. Since she still needs a nap most afternoons, she was usually tired and groucy for practice.
Add to that the fact that she is VERY shy. I had to bribe/drag/beg/force her to even get dressed and go to the recital on Saturday.

Once we were there, she had fun hanging out with the girls "back stage" (in the hallway of the high school, where the performance was being held.) And she did a great job on-stage. She didn't look a bit nervous and she smiled happily to the audience.
Here is a crappy recording of the dance that I did with my camera. It's kind of tough to pick her out from the line of matching girls, but she's there, right in the middle.
