Brooke's MmmmMmmm Good Winter Drink
In a whopping big mug (not one of those crappy little coffee cups), spoon in 1 heaping tablespoon of Pero(since Kraft - may they rot in hell - discontinued Postum) and 1-2 heaping tablespoons of Candycane Cocoa (Nathan's recent Costco discovery - Yum!!).
Add hot water. Stir. Top with Reddi-Whip(optional, but really, why wouldn't you?)
Hmm, what does Pero taste like? I have never tried it. The CandyCane Cocoa sounds scrumptious though. Maybe I will grab some while I stay at my Mom's for a few weeks. This baby girl better come quick, because I don't know if I can handle being away from my own home during the holidays for more than 30 days!!! Oh well, it is the price I am willing to pay for my doctors I suppose...
Only you and my parents love Pero and Postum. Cathy (step-ma) loaded up on it when she heard that they weren't going to be making it anymore. It smells horrible. Maybe the candy cane cocoa can make that stuff drinkable. Although, I won't be trying your mixture anytime soon. Cocoa and cream- delicious! BUT right now it is 80 degrees and it's just not the cocoa weather. Oh well. How about a lemonade?
I am a 40-something mom of 5 great kids. I can't really say "stay home mom" because I spend so much time driving my kids around that I'm rarely home. So much of my life is focused on the people around me that it's really hard for me to come up with an "About Me" statement. Maybe writing this blog will help me remember who I am. Or maybe it will just end up being more about the people around me. If so, I'm going to move to Nepal and becoming a monk.
