1 Month Birthday

I couldn't decide which 1 month pose I liked best, so I posted them all. I just wish that computers were scratch-n-sniff, because she just came out of the bathtub and smelled sooooo Baby Magic yummy!

Month 1 notables:
  • Torah is starting to recognize her family & treat them to heart-melting smiles.
  • She only wants to be held. Always. 24/7. Lucky for her, we are more than willing to oblige.
  • She sleeps her first few hours each night snuggling with her Baba while I get to sleep in a bed. Ahhhh . . . The rest of the night, mom & Torah catnap together in the La-Z-Boy. It's a good thing she's so dang snugly, and smells sooooo yummy!
  • She's had a couple of outings - bowling (which she slept through), a movie (Megamind, which she cried through and spent most of the time pacing the hall), and daily walks (riding in her sling, which she loves because, you know, it means she's being held).
  • She barely tolerates her car seat (again, it means she is not being held. Seeing a pattern?) The worst part of it is that if she happens to fall asleep in it, she won't stay asleep in it when I bring her inside. What sort of kid doesn't like sleeping in her car seat!?

I canNOT wait to hold her. I hope since you have brought her out in public ( WHAT...A movie??) then you are ready to bring her to church.
I may not hold her because of the stink eye that has invaded our home, but I will follow you around just to stare at her. When I do get her in my arms finally, you will have a hard time getting her back. xo

She is darling! I love her sitting in the chair looking so big and little at the same time. Movies are easy as long as you plan on holding and feeding the entire time. Does she like to swaddle? I have a swaddler for the carseat I can send you, maybe that would help.

You sound so much more pleasant about holding her than I felt about my little one! I was exhausted and you sound chipper as can be. Maybe age helps. :) She is cute as pie and even though I couldn't smell her, she looked delightfully BABY CLEAN!

Do you have a playyard? (Those things that have a mat and hanging toys.) I have one I can mail to you otherwise I was going to goodwill it. Also, do you need clothes for winter and what sizes. I have a couple of cute things I can send to you if they will still fit her. I have no need to store girl clothes. They are cluttering my garage.

One more thing...where did you get Baby Magic Original Scent? They no longer sell it in stores. The past two years they haven't had it on the market. I know because my mother in law stock piled it, and told us all to buy it. They are bringing it back I heard, but I still haven't seen it here. It is truly the only lotion that has the true baby smell!

Mine did NOT like the car seat!

I remember her wailing all the way to a checkup, from our house to the clinic. Ugh. Now she just TALKS the whole way...

Torah is a doll. Let me know when you're tired of her and I'll be glad to keep her.
