For Father's Day this year, we spent the weekend in Port Angeles. Nathan has been wanting to check out the tide pools at
Salt Creek. The day was overcast & a bit chilly, but that never slows kids down.

Adana fell on the slippery barnacles & sliced her hand. It was a pretty deep gash. One of the things I love about this girl, though, is how quickly she bounces back. A short cry, wrap up the hand in a rag, and she was off again.

This was a cool tunnel that would normally be completely underwater.

Nathan & the kids climbed to the top of this "island." When the tide is in, it's an island. But at these extreme low tides, you can hike out to it.

A true Pacific Northwest native. Splashing barefoot in the frigid water - and loving it!

I love these kind sibling moments.

Um, yeah. Whose wacky kids are those?

After the beach, we had to stop at Granny's Cafe for a burger & fries. Torah LOVES fries!

Then back to the lake house for a swim. What the . . .?! Again, whose psychotic kids are those?!

Micah after his cannonball.

Looks like fun, eh? :-)

Looks freezing...but beautiful!
I loved that you stopped to take a moment to snap the picture of Adana crying. Reminds me of Strawberry Hill. :)
