Summer 2011 - Utah, round 1

Nathan's little brother, Branden, got married to his sweetheart, Marina on June 25. They were married in Draper, UT. We flew down for the wedding.

Torah was so stinkin' cute in her little dress!

Adana was in awe of the whole thing, especially the bride (but darn it, I didn't get a picture of her). Here she is with Uncle Branden.

This picture is sort of blurry because I was trying to be sneaky when I took it. It was so sweet to watch Nathan & Jared dancing with their little girls.

Jared caught the garter. :)

Da Boyz. These two cousins are just a month apart in age. Don't they look like trouble?

After the wedding, we drove up to Bridal Veil falls in Provo Canyon. It was a gorgeous day!

Nathan refused to take his shoes off and wade across the water. I was soooo hoping for him to take an accidental plunge.

We sat on these rocks, with the water trickling down around us and the beautiful falls above. Ahhhh . . . So relaxing.

Torah loved dipping her toes in the water. She also loved sucking on wet rocks. :P

The bigger, the better.

A sweaty head and light breeze made for some pretty scary hair.

On Sunday, we went up to Temple Square in SLC.

I tried & tried to get some decent shots of my family, but it was like herding cats. So I just ended up with a lot of pictures of their back sides.

Here's how Nathan spent the bulk of the trip. Shocker.

We were able to stop in to visit Nathan's grandma Russell. She is so sweet. We had a fun time visiting with her. I'm glad that our kids will be able to remember her.

On Monday, we went to Seven Peak water park. Fun in the Sun!!

I LOVE water parks!

We rented a cabana, so Torah was able to take a couple good naps in the shade.

But when she was awake, so loved splashing in the water.

We spent most of our time sitting in the shallow part of the wave pool. Nathan & the girls are somewhere in that mess of people. I preferred to stick to the less crowded shallow end with Torah.

Looks like a blast! Seems like mommies get a lot of "backside" pictures. Herding the group together would require an act of sanity!

It was so much fun to see you guys! So sad we missed Bridal Veil Falls. Next time for sure!

Um, what is that brightness coming from those pictures? Besides the brilliant brains of your family? Oh, that's right. There still is a sun in the world. You just have to travel clear to Utah to find it. ;)
