Let's see:
5 kids x 20 baby teeth each = 100 teeth that will be lost by the Russell kids.
100 teeth x $1-$5 (depending on how many nights the dang tooth fairy forgets to come get the blasted tooth from under the pillow) = $100-$500 that we our poor tooth fairy has to fork over for those lousy teeth. It's a racket, I tell ya!
Now, this may come as a shock, but Adana is NOT known for her patience. :)

At the first sign of a slight wiggle in her tooth, she wanted it out. NOW! She even called Nathan on his cell phone - he was in the next room - and reported that she had a DENTAL EMERGENCY and needed him to take her to his office right away to pull out her tooth.

He tried doing it at home, but it wasn't budging. But once Adana has set her mind on something, she
doesn't let up.
So off they went to the office.

And back she came, a happy girl.

Phew.

Torah decided that she needed to get in on the teeth-checking action too. I just love those cute baby chompers.

I told Jacob on Monday that the tooth fairy was broke. Hee, hee. They know the truth, but still.
I hope my kids and your kids will never compare Tooth Fairy stories. The going rate around here is 50 cents for a front tooth, $1 for a molar. And that is big bucks for us!
We had to pull a tooth last week and there were tears and BLOOD. But it's all good (now).
Eric and I were just laughing so hard. She is so serious and standing so still and Nathan is laughing trying so hard to pull it. I can only imagine. Too much fun. My kids know they get $5 for their first tooth. It was their first tooth as a baby and the oldest. :) They only get $1 after that. I have never added up the total amount spent...but yah that is a lot of money. $24 per kid around here the Tooth Fairy will spend.
So the dentist pulled out a tooth that wasn't really ready? They are a pair.
I had a brother who went to my parents one day and said, "I need 12 dollars can you pull out 12 of my teeth?" He was totally serious.
The tooth fairy better not forget or that girl is gonna be mad.
