This weekly blogging requirement is going to drive me crazy! My weeks fly by in such a blur, and yet I can't think of a single thing worth blogging about. But it's 11pm and I only have one more hour to earn this point in my quest for a new soccer jersey. So here goes . . .
The week started off fantastically, with Monday being a "day off" (for me & the kids) due to MLK Jr Day. The rest of the week, however, was exhausting. It was finals week at the high school for the boys. Ugh. Glad that's over with. Only one more semester until Jared graduates! Yikes.
I decided over Christmas Break to not send Emma back to school, so I am homeschooling her. It was the best decision I've made in a long time. I LOVE having her home. We are having fun delving into history, Latin, grammar (let me hear a WOOT!), math, geography, literature & critical thinking. Plus she has "Life Skills" (babysitting, cooking, chores, finances, etc) and music (piano & flute lessons). And it allows us time to pursue her new favorite hobby - rock climbing! She's awesome at it.
As for Adana, well, she deserves a post all to herself. Stay tuned for the latest "Raising Adana" installment . . . :)
And our sweet Torah, who is growing up so stinkin' fast it kills me! She started speech therapy this past week, to hopefully correct some fluency & stuttering issues. I know it will be good for her in the long run, but I have to admit that I'll miss her cute little way of talking.
Oh, and Nathan bought a 2nd dental practice in Bremerton a couple months ago. And he is still working at his Bainbridge practice. And he is still in the Air Force Reserves. So no, we don't see each other much. :-/
And me . . . Still teaching preschool. Still Primary president. Still trying to run whenever I get the chance. Still feeling so incredibly blessed for this amazing life that I get to live.

You made it! And I'm gonna love reading every one of these 11 pm posts! :)
And can hardly WAIT for the next Adana installment.
So, why the change to homeschool for Emma? Inquiring teacher minds want to know.
Your regular weekly list wears me out. It also stresses me out. Your homeschooling list is part of the reason that I want to stop homeschooling. I don't even work! How do you do it all?
I love the late night posting as well. I so totally failed at sending my Sunday reminder...yikes.
Make sure you take lots of videos of Torah's adorable speech. We've been watching home videos lately and Kylie's speech is cracking us up! She was such a bossy-pants, too!
