The end of an era ...
I have spent the past 13 years of my life watching Jared play soccer. He started on his first team when he was 4 years old. For the next 13 years, I spent a majority of my Saturdays standing on the sidelines, cheering him on through sun, rain, wind, even snow. I have spent thousands of dollars on cleats, shin guards, uniforms, team fees ... And I have loved every single minute of it. I LOVE watching Jared play soccer. He is such a natural on that field.

| Wednesday night was Senior Night, the last league game of the season. |

| Before the match, all of the parents of Seniors lined up on the field. |

| The players were introduced one by one. They came out & gave flowers to their moms. It was pretty darn sweet. |
Incidentally, we won the match! 2-1 against Lakeside, our #1 rival in the Metro league. Go Spartans!!

Don't you just wish you would have held him back a year? Why do they have to grow up so fast?
