Yesterday, Adana fell while climbing up to our treehouse. She ended up with a fat lip and a buckle fracture on her left wrist. She'll be in a splint (which she hates!) for 4 weeks.

About Me
- Brooke
- I am a 40-something mom of 5 great kids. I can't really say "stay home mom" because I spend so much time driving my kids around that I'm rarely home. So much of my life is focused on the people around me that it's really hard for me to come up with an "About Me" statement. Maybe writing this blog will help me remember who I am. Or maybe it will just end up being more about the people around me. If so, I'm going to move to Nepal and becoming a monk.

Oh, poor adana:( But she sure is a trooper!
Of course she broke her arm! I have a feeling this won't be the last ouchie for my tough girl. Tell her I love her and kiss her ouchie for me!
Oh man! I see lots of fights in the future over that wrist brace. That should be fun. :)
Awww... poor Adana. But she is sure a cute kid! We have had our share of trips to the ER, at least no cast;)
Something tells me that broken arm won't slow her down. Just make sure she doesn't break the other one before that one heals.
I'd be scared(for my other kids) if Lydi broke her arm and had to have it in a cast...it would be like giving her a weapon.
Oh,no! Jessica broke both of her arms last year, at different times! We opted for the cast, so she couldn't take it off. I hope she keeps it on. Email me your address, so I can add you to my list of viewer's. I kinda freaked out about people in other countries checking out my site.

Your poor kids! First Jared hitting a pole and now Adana falling out of a tree. I don't know about your side, but we were always breaking something when we were little, but somehow we survived our childhood.
