About Me
- Brooke
- I am a 40-something mom of 5 great kids. I can't really say "stay home mom" because I spend so much time driving my kids around that I'm rarely home. So much of my life is focused on the people around me that it's really hard for me to come up with an "About Me" statement. Maybe writing this blog will help me remember who I am. Or maybe it will just end up being more about the people around me. If so, I'm going to move to Nepal and becoming a monk.

Sloan forwarded me your blog address and I really liked your title. Is it possible to feel dormant when you are living right near the ocean and supposedly on this wonderful adventure in Okinawa? :) Because I feel similar to how you feel and I'm not even "settled." But I don't know if it's so much a place that makes a person "settled" as it is just growing up and having to do so many tasks for so many people and try to find meaning in daily work and beauty in daily living. Thanks for blogging. It's so nice to catch a glimpse of your world. You do such a fabulous job with your children and I can imagine Jared does an awesome job playing soccer.
