"Anyone want some chocolate-dipped cheese?"

We had some friends over last night to help us finish eating all of the holiday snack food in our house before I purge my kitchen of anything unhealthy today. One of my biggest complaints about the holidays is how I abandon all reason and self-restraint and just eat sugar/carbs/fat until I feel like puking, then I wake up the next morning and do it again.

For a month! Blech.

So last evening, our friends brought along their chocolate fountain. Nathan has been eyeing one of these for a few years now. It was a lot of fun, especially for the kids.

"You mean I can eat all the chocolate I want? I can SLURP the chocolate off my gooey fingers?? I can stick MARSHMALLOWS in CHOCOLATE and EAT AS MUCH AS I WANT!?!?!?"

Good times. Good times.

They chocolate-dipped everything they could think of - bananas (yum!), pretzels (oh yeah!), summer sausage (they actually liked it), broccoli (not so much).
