Point No Point

We love this beach! Great sand, beautiful scenery, huge driftwood to climb on . . . It is custom-made for a perfect summer day.

The kids love trying to control a water-soaked log, and use it as a boat.

A buried treasure!

Micah emerges. Luckily, I'd brought lots of baby powder (the best way to get sand off).

Jared gets a nice mouthful of sand.

Adana like to just sit and watch the surf, eating a bag of chips and wiggling her little toes in the sand.

Surfer Dude Micah.

They had to wait for the big barges to pass by to get surf big enough to boogie board on. Keep in mind the temperature around her hasn't even made it into the 70's yet this year. This water was freezing!

At the end of the day, there's nothing better than warming up in the hot sand.

Did you guys go again, or was this from your trip last week? When we get back from vacation, we'll have to go together and this time I promise not to hide from you!

Wendy - Oh yeah! You just sprinkle baby powder right on top of the sand, and it rubs right off. Leaves Kid feeling, well, baby soft. :-)

Jenny - Yep, these were from our trip last week. I've just been sloooow getting them posted. (Although, I haven't seen any posts from you recently . . .) :-) We're definitely on to go back this summer. I'll tell your kids I'm bringing snacks, so they'll be sure to come find us. :-)
