Torah - 49 weeks old

It's been three weeks since my last Tuesdays With Torah. She's been a busy little girl.

Chillin' with the gals.

The girls gave her a little bow. It was the first time she's ever had any frou-frou in her hair. Kinda cute.

This is her daily spot as we wait for the girls' school bus. She's getting pretty good about not eating the rocks.

Here's her early attempts at self-feeding. Notice the apron holding her into the seat. :)

BTW, in case you were wondering, yes, I am VERY tired of sweeping/mopping the floor after she eats. Thanks for asking.

Stinkin' kid. Look at her almost standing all alone. She's so proud of herself. (And yes, her onesie is buttoned over the top of her pants. Her daddy dressed her that day.)

She can even balance for a few seconds (until I push her down. We can't have her growing up too fast.)

I came down with the flu last week and could barely lift my head off the couch. Still, motherhood doesn't stop for the flu and the poor baby needed to eat. This was the best I could do - a bowl of Cheerios set on the floor. They were initially in a bowl, I promise.

She was happy as a clam all morning, scrounging for food on the floor. Who needs a vacuum cleaner when there's a toddler in the house?

While I was sick, Baba took the girls to the park. Look at that sweet smile! And those yummy toes! And that sun! I'm so jealous that I had to miss all the fun.

She actually came down with the flu that night and threw up twice in bed. Baby throw up is NASTY - all sour milk and smeared everywhere. Ugh. Thankfully, it only lasted one night and then she was fine.

I don't know how often I've mentioned it, but Torah has long been totally obsessed with animals. She loves to sit & watch a Baby Einstein video that plays music and shows all sorts of cats, dogs, horses, etc.

She's going to be an animal lover like Micah.

Sorry to hear that you were sick. I think feeding off the floor just saves you the step of having to clean up the floor after the meal.

I can't believe 49 weeks!!! Where has the year gone?
