When I woke up this morning, I had NO IDEA that today would be the day.
The day that I have been waiting for for years.
And YEARS!
When I picked Jared up from Drive Tech at 9pm tonight, he casually mentioned, "Hey, did you know they have Shamrock shakes at McDonald's now?"
WHAT THE . . .?!? Brakes slammed on, car whipped 180 degrees around, good driving techniques recently learned in Drive Tech be damned.
And that's how I found myself in the McDonald's drive thru at 9:07pm, gleefully ordering two of these:
Yes, I know that they are a very psychedelic shade of green. And YES, I know that, technically, Shamrock shakes are supposed to be drunk in April**, in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
Don't care. It was MmmmMmmm good.
**Or, if you're lucky enough to live in GERMANY and you are, like, Super Woman, and you actually LIKE to celebrate holidays, you might drink Shamrock shakes on March 17. But, you know, whatever. :)

Nice fix! You are truly my favorite person! I wonder if the Germans will have shamrock shakes here? I'll let you know. Maybe I'll just go to Ireland for the holiday and see if I can find them there :)
