I spent a good portion of today helping out a friend who was trying to leave town for a short vacation. She was frantically trying to arrange a Young Women's Night of Excellence before she left, as well as trying to make sure everything was scheduled for her 5 kids while she's away all weekend. Of course she also had to clean the house, pack, and take care of the million other little things that a mom does each day. I basically filled in as "shuttle service" for her, taking her daughter to & from band, taking her to the ferry, and bringing her 3 girls back to my house for the afternoon. It was a great way to spend the day. If we're allowed to have a "favorite" way to serve, this would be mine. I like to drive people places.
