After a great season, the Red Sox came in 2nd in the Championship game tonight. It was a tough match, mainly because the pitcher for the other team was a monster. He pitches 70 mph! Our team just couldn't hit against him. But they played a great game and I'm really proud of them!
Here's a view of part of the crowd watching the game. That's one of the things that I love about living in a small town. There is so much great community support! The whole town turns out for things like this.

Jared played first base again. I love watching him at first, because he stays so focused through the whole game and can catch pretty much anything that is thrown/hit to him. (Yes, I may be a bit biased, but he must be good or the coach wouldn't keep playing him there, right?)

Wearing his 2009 Majors Championship Runner-Up medal. (I love it when they give medals instead of trophies. They're so much easier to store.)
So another sports season has come & gone. Sometimes I feel like I don't even know what month it is. Instead, I mark the passing of time based on what sports the kids are playing. Micah is still in the middle of roller hockey. Emma just finished up Jump Rope and is actually taking the summer off until soccer starts in the fall. Jared just finished baseball and was just accepted to a select soccer team that starts practice in 2 weeks.
And so it goes . . .
