Only a Mormon kid . . .

. . . would refer to the first few minutes of class, when the teacher is welcoming the students and going over the plans for the day, as "Opening Exercises." (which Micah did when he was telling me about school today. He didn't understand why it made me laugh.)

My friend's kindergartner returned from his first day of school and told her that he was "the only kid in class who knew how to be reverent."

You gotta love those baby Mormons!
