This has been quite a busy week for a certain 2 1/2 month old girl.
On Wednesday, we welcomed little Milez
"Ozzie" Wise to the world. I have always hated enduring pregnancy & those early years of motherhood by myself, so I was thrilled to be able to share it with my good friend, Mariann. We already have plans to install a microwave and mini-fridge in the Mother's Room at church. And maybe a deadbolt. :-)
Is anyone else getting annoyed with pointless security measures that we are forced to endure these days? While I can fully empathize with the horror of having your baby stolen from the hospital, I question the possibility of the perpetrator being a 2 month old baby. But they still made Torah wear a visitor tag. Geesh.

Ozzie & Torah, already a typical couple. He's asleep and oblivious; she's annoyed that she got all dressed up for him and he hasn't even noticed her new dress.
Torah also got to meet her Gma & Gpa Russell this week. We had fun visiting with them, and appreciate their willingness to come endure our frigid weather. At least it didn't rain all week!
On Sunday, Torah was blessed in church. She wore the blessing gown that we had made for Adana in Turkey. A sweet old Turkish woman knitted it for us. Of course, Adana was 3 months old and twice as big at the time, so Torah was swimming in it. But isn't that sort of how blessing gowns are supposed to fit?

I CAN believe they are all yours. You have so much to share with the world and these children are going to be great messengers! I got teary looking at your family photo.
