Jared spent the past 4 days after school at tryouts for the Bainbridge High School soccer team. He found out this evening that he made the JV team. Way to go, Jared!!
In case it hasn't been brutally obvious, Jared is a bit obsessed with soccer.
And he has been for, ohhhh, nearly 10 years. This is him playing on his first "real" team in Mississippi. We still credit that coach - Jeff French - for inspiring his love of soccerI asked my friend, Mariann, to help me edit the above pictures so that I could post them. Here's what she sent back:
She clearly knows Jared too well. :-)

Awesome, Jared! Let us know when his games on the Island are and we'll come cheer him on.
Congrats, Jared! I dated the soccer team in HS. Fun times! That is when I fell in love with the game.
I am SOO happy he made the JV team!!
