Yes, I'm still here - alive and reasonably well. We had such a crazy busy weekend, followed by a crazy busy week. I'll blog about it eventually . . .
The only reason I'm posting now is because I had to log on to change my "display name." That's the name that automatically appears whenever you leave a comment on a blog. Well, when I first started blogging, I had no idea what the heck it meant, so I just randomly typed in "the mom." So that is how all my comments have been signed. Who cares, right. Well, I've recently started reading a funny blog and I wanted to leave her a comment. But Lo & Behold, someone had already left a comment, using "the mom" as her display name! Crap. I hate hate hate being a copy cat, so I promptly had to change mine. I'm going with the not-very-creative "Brooke."
So . . . long story made short . . . no, I don't have time to blog about important stuff (oh yeah - I've got important stuff), but I obviously will drop everything in order to make sure that I'm not #2 "the mom" in a blog comment.

I love that "funny blog" is she a friend of yours, or is it a random blog that you found? Anyways, yeah your priorities are a little wacked--blogging about copycatters before your actual week.
Are you guys still going to Bakersfield this summer? Cuz that's what I heard. (I think it was your husband that told me...)
"Brooke" is a perfectly nice name, but if you feel it is too mundane, perhaps try something like... Nathan. ;-D

If I ever get an "not-so-boring-life", I just might start one myself... (wishfull thinking)
