You Rock!

Who says 30+ year olds can't have any fun? Who says you can't be hip if you're over 40? Well, I'll tell you what. We sure proved 'em right wrong tonight!

We had a radical Guitar Hero party tonight at a friend's house. Great food, rockin' tunes, and the hippest outfits to be seen since the Monsters of Rock (which, by the way, I saw in '88).

I'm posting this mainly for Nathan, who had to miss the fun tonight. You were missed! We'll have to do it again so that you can challenge Brad to a head-bangin' contest.

Our gracious hosts. (Don't worry, bishop. That's root beer.)

I've got lead vocals on Rebel Yell. (I think Brad took the picture. Thanks for the nice slant shot, Brad.)

Tonight, it was all about the hair! 'Fro's, mullets, mohawks . . .

"She-bop, He-bop, We-bop . . ."

The '80's prom date.

You gotta love a Mormon woman who can pull off the spiked leather look.

Here we've got the Cardiac Surgeon, the Graphic Designer, the Interior Designer (the very masculine guy in the back), and the hot rockin' mama. We're a pretty diverse group.

Brad was pouting because his band kept getting "Boo'd" off the stage. (Even though it was usually his fault.)

This is the first comment that I've ever left on a blog. I guess I'll see if it works once I push enter or whatever it is I need to push. I'm so nervous that I won't write in grammatical correctness and my comment will be deleted immediately :) What I loved, is I can just hear you telling me these stories. Great blog! Made me laugh. P.S. If I see a spider in yours car by yours head, I will try and freak out so you know it's serious.

Hey Brooke,
Jimmy wanted me to tell you that, "calling an Interior Designer an Interior Decorator is like calling a Dentist a Dental Hygenist".
I think he's a little bit sensitive about his feminine side :)

Sorry Jimmy. Please note that I have change my blog to reflect your true title.

That looks like a blast. I played Guitar Hero not to long ago, we would really like to buy it and play it with our friends. What a fun idea! I am sure that kept your mind off the not so great weather?
