Soccer in January in the Pacific Northwest
I bet you are expecting dreary, rainy, muddy, sloppy, mucky pictures. . .
But NO! On Saturday, Jared played in the Commissioner's Cup and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. It had rained all week, so normally we would have played in a swamp. But instead we got to play on our new turf fields. Very nice! (Actually I really just wanted this opportunity to show off the "panoramic" mode on my new camera. Not bad for a little point-n-shoot, eh?)
Bring it on, Vancouver! (Our opposition drove up from Vancouver, WA. We were lucky to get this match as a home game.)
It was a well-played game. We started the game with only one sub, but one of our guys broke his wrist in the first half so we played the rest of the game without any subs. That is the face of a tired kid.

my nephew is a stud! nice the fields weren't muddy either!
That is a rough game when you break a wrist in soccer. Nice field, and tired boys are always nice.
Way to go Jared.
Hurray for the new turf fields! Kylie only got to play on them once last season, but it sure was nice.
What was the final score in this game?

Nice action shots with your camera! How is it that turf didn't get all soggy? Do they squeegie it?
