Valiant 10 class party

I have been SO lucky to have the greatest Primary class at church for the last 2 years. They let me keep the same kids two years in a row, and we got really attached.

We really wanted to have a class party and have been trying to plan one since the summer. After numerous cancellations and reschedulings, we were finally able to get together at my house during Christmas break.

We started off with a White Elephant gift exchange. My contribution were some magnets that looked like wads of chewed-up gum. What 10-year old wouldn't love that!?

The favorite gift, of course, was a Whoopie Cushion. One of the girls brought her little mini video camera and they spent the rest of the party filming short movies about the adventures of "Sir Farts-a-lot."

Meanwhile, the boys hung out in the tree house, bombing each other with pine cones.

I sure have enjoyed getting to know these awesome kids and I'll miss being their teacher.

Love that picture of the girls! I hope they'll stay good friends as they get older. Thanks for being an awesome Primary teacher for the last 2 years! Jillian loves you (and so do I).
