Adana: (casually checking it out) "That's my booger collection."
The wall is smeared and polka-dotted with hard, green boogers.
Me: (using my stern voice and disapproving eyes) "Why did you do that?"
Adana: (clearly and completely unaffected by parental disapproval) "That's what I do when you put me in my room alone." (Eyes sparkling, her huge grin simultaneously confirms and contradicts her next comment.) "I'm weird. Sorry."
And she prances out of her room while I spend the next 15 minutes trying to scrub/chisel/blow torch dried snot off her wall. NASA needs to patent this stuff. I swear it could hold together the International Space Station.
And I, apparently, need to figure out a new Time Out location for her. Maybe the back of a closet, or the bathtub . . .

LOL!!! I have tears in my eyes from laughing. That is the funniest and nastiest thing ever. :)
Christian did the same thing- FOR YEARS! Every time we'd move I'd get to see the wall of the bottom bunk plastered. He wasn't in timeout, he just picked before he'd fall asleep. His response? "At least I don't eat them like my brother."
I guess he was right. He then got good at cleaning them up and the booger wall stopped...I think. Use a spatula, it makes it easier.
Yea, Adana!!
Disgusting...and it is my biggest fear! At least I know how to clean it up now!
OMG my stomach hurts from seriously laughing way too hard. I just know your mom is getting SICK pleasure out of this.
And isn't this the same child that bites her toenails? Well then of course her boogers are hard as "nails" once they dry!!!
Oh Brooke, this one is gonna give you a run for your money. It's a good thing the first 3 turned out the way they have. 'Cuz this one is gonna whip you!
Thanks for a sneak peek into my future. Believe me.....I am taking notes. NO timeouts where I cannot see her!
PS- It says Myron because if I sign out and back in again..I have to retype everything and I am too lazy at this point.
xo- BUTLERS
eeewww! She is s hoot! Miiley usually brings me her boogers! Guess thats better than the wall!
Hilarious. I'm pretty sure I would love Adana if I couold meet her. She would fit right in at the Houser house. :)
