Christmas tradition
I have to admit that I am not one of those people who is passionately devoted to tradition. I do see the value in family traditions - fun memories, bonding family moments, yadda yadda. I have made great strides in my efforts to overcome this "personality flaw" and establish more traditions in our family (i.e. I no longer sulk in a corner while the rest of the family sets up the Christmas tree). But on the whole, I would much rather try something new and innovative rather than merely do the same thing over and over. Yawn.
HOWEVER, there is one tradition which I have brought from my childhood that I just can't do without. Christmas Painted Cookies.
