Nathan & Emma are in Utah this weekend for Kerri's (Nathan's little sister) graduation. I'm somewhat used to Nathan being gone - work, conferences, etc. But I've never been home and not had Emma here. It's weird; I don't like it. She is such a sweet, creative, helpful little girl and I find myself constantly feeling her absence. It's just a short trip, but I'll sure be glad when Sunday comes and our whole family is back together.

Awww, sweet. I know what you mean. We're so used to the little boogers, it's strange when we're apart.
I want to see Emma! I didn't know she was in Utah.
Wendy - yeah, absense makes the heart grow fonder. It's so easy to forget the whining, begging, etc. when they're gone. (Not that MY daughter ever whines or begs!) :-)
Sheri - sorry. This was just a quick trip. They're spending today visiting her Great Grandma, then tomorrow they'll see the choir and fly home. If you want to see her (and the rest of us) how 'bout you come visit!?
That is really sweet. I miss my parents when they go trips too.
We loved having Emma, she was a lot of fun...Nathan too!
