This morning, I was in the homeschool room, trying to get some work done. Adana came traipsing in, wearing her cute little pink dress that matches her dolly's dress. How cute is that!? :-)
Anyways, she announced, "Poop!" Well, this was nothing new. She's always telling me when this happens. I said, "Just a minute" and continued what I was doing.
"Poop. Outside." That got my attention, because she usually will only do her "business" in some quiet corner.
She grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the back door. "Look. Poop."
And there, on the back deck, across the threshold of Emma's new playhouse, was a fresh puddle. A quick lift of the dress revealed a cute little bare bum. A sniff check confirmed that she (thankfully!) had gotten her words confused.
"Here. Diaper." She came waltzing up, as if presenting me with a delightful gift.
And all I could think was, "I really don't want to start potty training. Ugh."

Hey...I just figured out how to find your blog page. I feel so clever! Loved this poop story. The joys of parenting. Ya gotta love it!
My child LOVED going outside to do that (and more!). She'd rip her clothes off inside when she felt The Urge and run out naked. In the 50 degree weather...
cute pic of your daugther.
My turn is coming...
That post would have been just fine without showing the acutal crime scene! I think we all would have still understood what happened.
